Sorry I haven’t gotten anything updated lately as far as schedules go. Baseball and softball have kept me pretty busy! Anyway, I finally got the next few weeks updated with a couple of question marks so take a look at it if you could.
I have updated the schedules thru the end of June. Take a look at them if you could! I don’t have Gary officially at a position yet, but will definitely be adding him in on the schedule soon. Until then, he is continuing to watch and help out wherever.
Have a great week everyone!
Allright, I think I am getting most of the June schedules updated. If anyone can’t help out on the Sunday I’ve scheduled you, please let me know. I know things are busy and people are taking vacations, so just keep me up to date please!
Updated schedules will be found on the schedules page.
Please lift up Steve and his family in your prayers as he will be travelling the weekend of the 18th to visit his grandfather who is not doing well.
The schedules have been udpated thru the end of May. Keep me up-to-date on your vacation schedules please!
Thanks to everyone’s help on Sunday for Confirmation Sunday. I thought it went very well and I have received several compliments on the live video we did. They were impressed and were also appreciative because it let them see what they really wouldn’t have been able to see especially from the third row and beyond.
I would also like to welcome Gary Yonek to the team. He spent Sunday watching everything from setting up the stage to running sound and video during the service. Hopefully we didn’t overwhelm him especially since it was a very busy Sunday. Welcome Gary!!
Have a great week everyone.
Again, the schedules have been updated so check them out on the schedules page.
Exciting things are happening and our numbers keep increasing. Keep in prayer about where God is leading us and where we can improve the worship experience in all of our services, as well as our children’s worship time in the Upper Room, and of course don’t forget about Quake!
Several months ago I came across something called YouVersion, which at the time was in the development stages. Well, it’s been released for a while now and I’m very impressed with the site and wanted to share it with all of you. As they put it, they are “A revolutionary online Bible that enables community and collaboration like never before.”
You can read the Bible in many different translations/versions; you can comment on certain scripture and mark passages that have special meaning to you; there is also an area where you can journal as you go. There are many other features that will soon be coming out.
I have been feeling the need to improve my Bible reading (it has been virtually non-existent lately) and since I’m always on the computer I think this will fit very well.
I would encourage each of you to take a look at it and see if it might help you in your relationship with Christ. I’ve added a link to the site on the right-hand column of this blog and also added a “Search the Bible” feature.
For anyone who wants to browse, read, and learn, check out the Audio Forums on ChurchMedia.net. There’s a lot of great information on there from people who do what we do on a weekly basis. Browse thru the forums and you will probably learn something new every day. Some of the people who post on these forums are from some of the largest churches in the world, and others are from churches 1/10th our size. It’s a great resource so feel free to take a look. There are also video, computer, website, lighting, print, and other forums.
I have finally gotten around to getting schedules updated thru 5/11. Make sure you check out the schedules page to see it.
Summer is coming, so let me know of any Sunday you won’t be around so I can schedule around you. Thanks!
